Business Analyst – Associate Director (Data Integration & Commercial Analytics)

Position Summary

A major data integration initiative is underway to incorporate a recently acquired company into an existing enterprise data ecosystem. We are looking for someone to serve as a core Business Analyst (AD level) who can connect multiple workstreams, drive clarity, and support all phases of the integration effort. The ideal candidate brings strong life sciences experience, deep data strategy expertise, and a solid understanding of pharma commercial analytics.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of a large‑scale data integration program.

• Develop a strong understanding of data sources, business processes, and analytics workflows.

• Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and cross‑functional alignment.

• Partner with technical teams on data mapping, harmonization, and integration design.

• Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies across workstreams.

• Support testing, validation, and downstream reporting impacts.

• Provide clear communication and updates across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in life sciences, with experience in data strategy or commercial analytics.

• Strong knowledge of pharma commercial datasets (sales, claims, CRM/Veeva, SP/HUB, payer, etc.).

• Experience with large‑scale data integrations or migrations.

• Ability to translate business needs into structured technical requirements.

• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

• Consulting experience preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Background in data governance or enterprise data architecture.

• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure).

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in fast‑moving environments.
